Two covered wooden bridges

Two bridges have been preserved in western Butler County. The former State Line Covered Bridge was moved in 1966 to Governor Bebb Park on Ohio 129 between Okeana and the Ohio-Indiana state line. The 120-foot bridge was build in 1850. On the northern edge of Oxford, just off Ohio 732 is the Black Covered Bridge, a 206-foot span built over Four Mile Creek in 1870.
